Fall 2026 Select

The Select Program provides additional opportunity for players who wish to improve their softball skills beyond the regular league season and experience advanced level of competition. This program is for 8U through 14U players and gives the players an additional day/s of practice/game play.  All players signing up for Select must also be playing in Fall Rec at WVGS.

Select will run from the weekend of August 23rd until the weekend of November 7th.

If your child is selected for a select team, this season Select games will be played on Friday or Saturday.  Select practices may occur on Friday or Saturday as well. The season may also include one USA Softball Tournament.

Our goal is to field one team in 14u, one team in 12u, three teams in 10u and two in 8u. If the numbers are there for another team and we are able to find a manager, we will do our best to field another team or at least create a practice squad. 

Select fees will be in addition to Rec costs and generally run $125-175/player.  Additional cost is necessary if players require a new select jersey which is a dry fit black-t shirt style.

This interest form is not a guarantee to a Select team.  The coaches for Select will be contacting you some time after evaluations.  If a player withdraws from a select team after the roster has been selected, she is ineligible from all Heat/Select consideration for 1 year.
